This is because when comparing with other surgical gowns we needed to use ‘our’ machine – to make this a fair comparison. Therefore ‘our’ less favourable result was used to illustrate how well the gown performs re low air permeability in relation to the commonly used single use surgical gown (‘light’ gown).
